Decades of spiraling, one quiet mind: a client story, by Megan Vasquez

When she booked her session, she told me she felt like she'd completely lost control of her mind.

She'd been living with constant spiraling for decades: rehearsing worst cases that hadn't happened, keeping a running list of everything she was doing wrong, and never getting to neutral. Then it suddenly got worse.

And she was doing everything "right." She psychoanalyzed every thought and neutralized every critique, one by one. She was trying to out-work her own brain.

What her Higher Self wanted her to know

Thoughts aren't the reflection. The way a thought makes you feel is the reflection.

You don't have to decode every single one. Some of them aren't even from this lifetime.

When we read her Creator Field, the root wasn't childhood. It was a soul theme she'd carried across many lifetimes: feeling like her mind was against her, beating herself up for how it worked, and never having the support to move through it. This lifetime, she gets to transmute it.

We didn't add more work. We made it easy.

We pulled masteries of mindfulness and presence and ran energy work back through every lifetime to the root. She left with a shield and an in-the-moment tool she could use anywhere. She calls it the energetic brain transplant.

When we started, she rated her love for her own mind at 1%. By the end of the session, it was 96%.

In her words

"I'm stunned at how peaceful and quiet my mind has become... my mind was quiet for the first time in almost two months... I'm using all the tools you gave me and instantly restoring my sense of peace, calm, and in control."

Is this you?

You might relate to her if:

  • You replay conversations long after they're over
  • You rehearse worst cases for things that haven't happened
  • You treat every critical thought like a problem you have to solve before you can rest
  • You've read the books, done the journaling, and you're still exhausted by your own mind

If that's you, here's the shift: you don't have to win the argument with every thought. You just have to notice what it's making you feel.

A 2-minute practice: feel it, don't decode it

The next time a thought starts to spiral:

  1. Notice it without arguing. Say to yourself, "There's a thought." That's it.
  2. Name the feeling underneath in one word. Scared. Ashamed. Behind. Alone.
  3. Find it in your body. Put your hand where you feel it and take three slow breaths into that spot.
  4. Ask your Higher Self, "What do I want to feel instead?" Take the first word you get.
  5. Do one small thing that matches that word. If it's "safe," wrap yourself in a blanket. If it's "free," step outside for a minute.

You're not ignoring the thought. You're going straight to the reflection, which is where the shift actually happens.

This practice is a support, not a replacement for care. If your thoughts ever feel unsafe, please reach out to a mental health professional or someone you trust.
