From 16% Self-Trust to Saying Her Price Out Loud: A Client Story

From 16% to 83% self-trust: a client story, by Megan Vasquez

The first time we measured her self-trust, it was 16%.

She'd come to me after an intuitive read, wanting to develop her own gifts. She had the ability. What she didn't have yet was trust in herself.

The work

Over six mentorship calls, we didn't chase more information. We built trust, one small promise to herself at a time.

One of the first lessons was this: intuition is only as good as the questions and statements you ask. She stopped asking vague questions and started getting specific answers.

Another one she says she still thinks about: you learned at an early age not to trust yourself, so that later you could learn how to trust yourself. Her history wasn't a flaw to fix. It was the training ground.

The numbers

  • 16% self-trust when we started
  • 32% a couple of weeks later
  • 83% self-trust and 89% self-image by our last call

The wins showed up off the call too. After a holiday party, she told me she felt so good. There was no replaying every conversation the next morning.

Where she is now

Months later, she told me she'd quoted her price for her own sessions and got a yes.

She also told me one line from our work had "stuck in my mind for so long": by you not showing up, who are you not helping?

She's showing up now.
